ABSTRACT: Glagahwero watershed is located at Jember regency, East Java Province. The width of catchment area is 88 km2. This condition has increased the potency of damage-land so that those damage-land need to get a rehabilitation soon. This study is aiming to predict the amount of erosion, sediment and run-off on Sub DAS of Glagahwero based on Geographical Information System. This system also has purpose to determine the managing of area function in accordance with in Glagahwero Watershed, Bedadung Watershed in framework of water resource conversation. Research begins with optimizing plant and land factors to estimate erosion, sediment and run-off. Vegetative simulation seems conducted to organize erosion, sediment and run-off. Modeling and simulation consider WEPP Model to estimate and to control erosion, sediment and run-off. Result of research indicate that WEPP model may be useful to estimate erosion, sediment and run-off in Glagahwero Watershed. The rate of simulation for erosion and sediment in Glagahwero Watershed relied erosion reaches about 14,168 tons/ha/year while sediment about 0,022 tons/ha/year. The controlling technique of erosion and sediment is 45,15% of total width and it is changing to 60% of total width. This changing happens from upperstream to downstream. Area functional arrangement of Glagahwero Watershed to be applied with the width of buffer-area and protected-area is 69,055%. It is suggested that a plant cultivation-area and buffer-area with a high risk of erosion might be changed into a mixed plantation.
