ABSTRACT
The people who live in the town and the village is caught indeed on the increasing of the fuel especially kerosene. So they have to spend more their money for the fuel, and cause more wiped out their salary. This experience is designed to build of the water heater system that use the sun energy. The type of this water heater is thermosifon. The aim of this system is to cut cost of the fuel consumption of the people/housing consumption. The result of this experience showed the water heater system that have had built got the highest temperature on 12.00 pm to 1 pm that is 60oC degree for the water flow velocity 7,5 m/sec and 64,2oC degree for 5 m/sec. The total lost coefficient of the collector (UL ) = 3,1025 W / m2 K, efficiency factor (F ) = 0,90 and the efficiency of the thermal system of the water heater is () = 64,92 %.
