ABSTRACT
In this research, there were two testing steps: aggregate materials testing of ceramics waste (ALK) and testing of ceramics concrete quality. Aggregate materials testing of ceramics waste was done by testing of chemistry composition, specific gravity, tenacity to whether, hardness, grain form, size/gradation, and diffraction of X-ray (X-RD). Testing of ceramics concrete quality was done by testing of push strength, elasticity modulus, and pull strength. The materials testing of ceramics waste aggregate (ALK) showed that ceramics waste aggregate (ALK) could be utilized as concrete aggregate or concrete panel aggregate. Characteristic of ceramics waste aggregate (ALK) was adequate to meet the standard as concrete aggregate according to SII Standard, BSI Standard, and ASTM Standard. From diffraction test of X-ray (X-RD), there was no active silica that can react whit cement alkali. Result of testing the ceramics concrete quality showed that ceramics concrete has push strength and elasticity modulus of until 8.9% of normal concrete with ALK 0%.and has pull strength until 3% lower than pull strength of normal concrete with ALK 0%.
