ABSTRACT: The objective of this research is to find effects of increasing coal particle content on the carrier fluid to the coefficient of discharge (Cd) of venturimeter and effects of venturimeter throat diameter to the coefficient of discharge (Cd). This research was conducted on the three venturimeter with 12,70 mm, 15,88 mm and 19,05 mm inner diameter each other. The mass concentration of coal particle on the carrier fluid is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. The result shows that addition of coal particle up to 20% had no significant effect to the coefficient of discharge (Cd) of venturimeter. Three kinds of venturimeter with different diameter that used at this research had no effect to the coefficient of discharge (Cd).
