ABSTRACT: Assumed as normal concrete, concrete block quality influenced by some thing as material choice, made of processing, kinds of filler and maintenance after concrete blocking. For material choice are chemistry contain, hardness aggregate, moisture content, soil content, gradation compose and finer of cement. Made of processing with loading, vibrating and new method as SCC (self concreting concrete). This research is limited of material choice with variety of fly ash usage, variety of hardness material and variety of water content. The mix design composition of paving block sample are: with a same material use water cement ratio 0,5 ; 1 ; 1,5 ; 2. with variety of fly ash filler content 0% ; 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% from total weight aggregate. And variety of hardness of aggregate start at 23% up to 55%. Out put of research show that more water cement ratio start 0,5 up to 2 more strengthen, as filler influence, but contrary with hardness of material. As less of hardness less strengthen also.
