ENGINEERING JOURNAL : PENGARUH PROSENTASE PENAMBAHAN ACCELERATOR TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN BETON NORMAL

ABSTRACT: Normal concrete always used in construction industrial as one of material which is easy to produce, but have some criteria that must be accomplish, that is workability, homogenity, durability and economic value. The construction world always required concrete which could be hardened in a few hours in order to push the period of construction. To fullfil the requirement of acceleration additive, PT Megamix Beton Indonesia has produce some product called as Red Megaset. This research aim to know the influence of accelerator additiv to the concrete strength development. The result of this research shows that percentage of accelerator has no significant influence to the concrete strength if testing of concrete strength under 28 days. But after 28 day, the percentage of accelerator have significant influence to the concrete strength development by equation of y = 90,81 x + 21,301 and the R-square value is 0,6846.
