ENGINEERING JOURNAL : PEMULURAN (CREEP) PADA KONDUKTOR SUTET 500 KV AKIBAT PEMBEBANAN ARUS SALURAN OPTIMAL

ABSTRACT: This Research is conducted to know how far creep conductor that happened at transmission line operate on optimal load effect. As simulation model, transmission line extra high voltage 500kV Paiton - Kediri is used, having ACSR conductor data according to field. Temperature of Conductor is calculated based on hot-balance equation, whereas Catenary method and Rulling span method used to determine sag conductor and length. Pursuant to this research result is inferential that with line current change existence from 10 ampere to 940 ampere will cause the conductor elongation equal to 0,43 metre and happened sag improvement equal to 12,96 %.
