ABSTRACT: Central PT. Telkom ARNET Jember is important infrastructure peripheral in process of communications, because becoming center incircuit telecommunications network between cutomer and other central network. Building and central peripheral telecommunications very dangerous to trouble of thunder pouncing movement either directly and indirectly, Determination of air termination in thunder protection system without planning, by physicaly can protect building of thunder pouncing movement, but not yet can identify of thunder protection system can protect building and telecommunications peripheral according standard which have been specified.
Pursuant to net method can know that Central PT. Telkom ARNET Jember building have widely of minimum net which must be used equal to 15 metre. Later; then pursuant to angle protection method, angle of protection which was in this time given by attached air termination equal to 70,22o and with the angle of east central building shares not yet come within in angle protection so that require to add height of air termination. Pursuant to rolling ball method also explain there are building shares which still installation require to air termination.
