ABSTRACT

The one of strategy that is necessary implemented based on internal and external condition of PT X is increasing system performance especially in production department. The design in Tool Management Systems is needed to help the management to make the decision in increasing system’s performance. The objective of the research is producing the alternatives of the system. The most necessary function of Tool Management Systems can be found by Function Analysis Systems Technique. There are: distribution (M), inventory (G) and maintenance (B). Twelve possible of the systems alternative that can be implemented are produce by combine the ideas. The ideas are created based on each system function. There are M1, M2, G1, G2, B1, B2, and B3.
