ABSTRACT: In developing of Block of E West, the calculation of oil reserve represents the most important early step to determine the efeciency of the area development. Reserve calculation gives description of closure hydrocarbon which not yet been produced in order to search and place the development well outside drainage area. This research has been done to know the total of oil and gas in the reservoar of sandstone of E-22 A lower, and to estimate oil reserve which can be taken to surface as well as also to identify the characteristic reservoir through well log data. Net oil isopach in Main Formation have specific characteristic such as high resistivity as shown in well log data in which there is distinction separation between resistivity log. The Type of Reservoar in this area E West is water drive mechanism in which influenced by water. The Factor of Acquirement for oil on the drive mechanism have value as much as 30 %. The oil isopach in the horison of Main Formation has the probable reserve as much as 2,2 MMBO and total of reserve taken as much as 0,7 MMBO.
