ENGINEERING JOURNAL: PENGARUH FAKTOR AIR SEMEN (FAS) TERHADAP TOUGHNESS BETON

ABSTRACT: Toughness is a measure which indicates the energy needed to happen propagation fracture/disintegration. This rigidity is often known as toughness. So perseverance is the rate of collapse of structures as determined by the ability of the material in order to dissipate energy. The purpose of this study are to examine the study for the Study of factors influence cement ais (fas) for normal concrete toughness. How to study includes the selection of materials ΓΈ20mm size of coarse aggregate; sieve 38 mm and 19 mm sieve and suspended fine, testing the physical properties of materials, mix design, specimen, density testing, self weight and compressive strength of specimens, as well as conclusion.The study shows: under FAS, it appears that the mixture containing the lowest FAS, namely 0:35 to give the value of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity is higher. When dipersentase visible; on FAS 0.45 = 20.98 MPa, increasing to 23.36 MPa at FAS 0.40 (11.34%) and increased to 26.68 MPa at FAS 0.35 (27.17%) . Also, the greater the compressive strength value achieved will show more ductile concrete. This can be seen from the value of Stress Intensity / Stress Intensity Factor (K) for the FAS 0.45 = 0.8267 N / m, rising to 0.8664 N / m at FAS 0.40 (4.80%) and increased to 0 , 9088 N / m at FAS 0.35 (9.93%).

ABSTRACT: To develop induction motor characteristics, mathematics model is necessary conventional methode use transformer equivalent circuit. This methode is very limited, it could only handle sinusoidal power supply in steady-state ondition. This model could handle either steady-state or transient conditions. This model could handle nonsinusoidal power supplies as well. The limitation of this model in solving the nonlinier equation. A new model using artificial neural network has been eveloped to handle this problem. It has been proven that using Radial Basis Function training methode, this new methode can model torque characteristic with torsi maximum to the refferences is 0,8322 pu, time 27,58 second, and steady state 33,84 second

ENGINEERING JOURNAL: STUDI CARA KERJA HEMODIALISA ELEKTRONIK DITINJAU DARI SUDUT PANDANG ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN

ABSTRACT: Dialysis is a process used to remove fluid and waste products from the body when the kidneys are unable to carry out these functions (kidney/renal failure). Haemodialysis is a process that can be used on patients in a state of acute illness and require short-term dialysis therapy (in a few days until few weeks) or patients with terminal stage renal disease who requiring long-term therapy or permanent therapy. A strand of synthetic semipermeable membrane used to replace glomerolus and renal tubulus and works as a filter for the impaired renal function. These are the systems of an artificial kidney. 1. Discard the product of protein metabolism such as urea, creatinine, and uric acid. 2. Discard the excess water by affecting the appeal between blood pressure and the fluid, usually consisting of positive pressure in the blood flow and negative pressure (vacuum) in the dialysate compartment (ultrafiltration process). 3. Maintain and restore the body's buffer system. 4. Maintain or restore the body's electrolyte levels. The purpose of hemodialysis is to take these substances are toxic nitrogen from the blood and remove excess water. In hemodilyse, full of blood flow with toxins and nitrogen waste diverted from the patient's body to dialiter where blood is cleaned and then returned to the patient's body. Hopefully, in this study obtained knowledge of the workings of standards operational procedures (SOP) of the hemodialysis devices from the viewpoint of nursing care.

ABSTRACT:This paper proposes an improved control strategy for a four-leg inverter in a transformerless hybrid power system (HPS). The system consists of two sources, namely diesel generator and battery. The load is characterized by unbalanced and high fluctuations. The objective of control system is to balance the voltage and current of diesel generators output. The improvement of control strategy is based on diagonal recurrent neural network (DRNN). First, the mathematical model of the inverter is obtained by using the average technique, which allows converter systems to be rapidly and accurately simulated. Then, use DRNN control strategy which based on the decomposition of voltage and current outputs of three phase inverter into instantaneous positive, negative and zero sequence components. Simulation results show the current unbalance of diesel generator is decreased from 35.79 % to 5.70 % and voltage unbalance is decreased from 6.36 % to 1.55 %.

ENGINEERING JOURNAL: PENDETEKSI TEPI DENGAN METODE SELISIH

ABSTRACT: Edge detection method utilize difference graylevel difference between the adjacent pixels image. As known that the edge of the image shows the difference in composition of red, green and blue (RGB) between pixels. For color images need to be converted first into grayscale image. Then for each pixel was calculated difference graylevel with 4 neighbors. A threshold value was chosen to determine the next value of the graylevel. If one of the differences of graylevel with four neighbors is less than the threshold value then the pixel is given the value graylevel 0. If larger then the pixel is given the value graylevel 255. By applying this method to the entire pixel image the new binary image will be created. By varying the threshold value it will get different results and can be adjusted as desired. The advantages of this method is quite simple and is able to remove noise dots that are not needed that often arise when using conventional edge detection methods such as method of Sobel, Prewitt, or Robert.
